Rally the Troops

Lately the fates have not been on my side healthwise and it's taken a toll on me most definitely. I've been in low spirits and honestly just feel like I've been trudging along.... but the other day this stranger saw me wearing my steve madden black lace up leather boots and said by the looks of my "hardcore" boots I looked like I was going into combat. Although it's a stupid notion, I can't help smiling now when I put them on...like they can help me keep trudging until I feel like me again.
